Rural village life in Yakutia, the coldest region on Earth. Life here is completely unique to anywhere else in the World. People in the village 's outside of Yakutsk, Siberia (Russia), have to deal with cold temperatures like nowhere else. The lowest recorded temperature is 71°C (95°F) and the average winter temperature, 50°C (58°F). The local villagers have adapted to life in Yakutia and it's challenges in an incredibly interesting way and we traveled from Yakutsk to one of these villages, through some of the most beautiful nature on planet earth, to meet some of the local Yakut (Sakha) people, head inside their village homes, and find out about this unique way of life in the "Pole of Cold" for ourselves.
