Life @ OFF GRID homestead 17: Three years worth of HUMANURE! I GOT SO CLOSE TO GOING TO KOREAN JAIL

Follow
With heart wide-open

On the drive home after meeting Greg and Katie from    / @thisoffgridlife   for lunch, I share how much I love driving back home to my ... bat cave it seems.

I finally decided to immortalize the story of when I almost went to jail for drugs in Korea.

In this video:    • Old videos 18: ALMOST ENDED UP IN KOR...

you can see me talking about the experience a few hours after it happened, still too shaken to even go into the details.

In this video you will hear the details of how I couldn't have been any closer to going to jail in Korea for mail importation of drugs.

A few times a year I must clean up our toilet. See as I do it. It's not gross or smelly. After 3 years we've gotten great soil out of our humanure.

We take a full day to quad and explore the trails in and around our property with Greg and Katie. It was muddy but lots of fun!

We receive the materials for our summer projects, it's real now, I'm building another roof!

We spent a day chipping away at our piles. A very physically demanding day for both of us.

_______________

I purchased a camera in early 2003 and from then on, kept a regular video diary.

It is with Heart Wide Open, that I share my addventures on my journey in Life.

Every week I upload alternatively a video from the past (starting in 2003 while teaching English in Seoul, South Korea) and one from 6 months ago where I live offgrid, in the middle of nowhere, with the love of my life and our animals.

In the recent videos (episodes), you will see me learn to build, pretty much by myself, projects such as a root cellar, a passive solar greenhouse to grow food year round, a shop/garage with a mezzanine and tackle the daily challenges of living so remotely.

In the videos of the past, you will see the path which led me from teaching English in Korea to my current lifestyle. From the Freedom 35 project to Living in Slovakia, from marriage to divorce, you will witness my unique journey which has shaped me into who I am now.

Hope you enjoy!
