This video explain in detail about lipoprotein metabolism which includes metabolism of chylomicrons, VLDL, IDL, LDL and HDL).
Lipoprotein metabolism involves metabolism of chylomicrons, VLDL, LDL, IDL, HDL. Lipoprotein metabolism involves many enzymes like lipoprotein lipase, hepatic lipase, lecithin cholesterol acyl transferase, cholesterol ester transfer protein (CETP), hepatic lipase. Questions on lipoprotein metabolism are confusing especially for someone who does not have proper understanding of lipoprotein metabolism. The practice questions given below are my own and it is made keeping usmle step 1 question format in mind. Take a look at this sample question on lipoprotein metabolism and let me know if you have any questions.
