Lithuania survived communism and preserved its Catholic identity. But Lithuania's enduring pagan past has survived both communism and Catholicism. Baltic paganism is very close to the ancient IndoEuropean paganism and much of it survives in the folk customs of the Lithuanian people. This film looks at the glorious nature of the exSoviet state and examines some of the spiritual customs that have been preserved in this, the last country in Europe to convert to Christianity.
