Welcome to our little aerodrome by the sea at Salcombe in South Devon.
Bolt Head Aerodrome became established as an advanced landing ground high on the only large section of flat ground near Salcombe in South Devon in 1941, it was a hive of wartime activity until 1946 when a Wellington Bomber became the final wartime era aircraft to land here.
The little seaside aerodrome is now used by small light aircraft flying off a strip of grass beside the former wartime runway.
