Kelp Forest Exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

Discover an underwater forest—at 28 feet, the Kelp Forest is one of the tallest aquarium exhibits in the world. Get a diver’seyeview of sardines, leopard sharks, wolfeels and a host of other fishes as they weave through swaying fronds of kelp, just like they do in the wild.

The mission of the nonprofit Monterey Bay Aquarium is to inspire conservation of the oceans. Located at the ocean's edge, the Aquarium is your window to marine life, home to sea otters, penguins, sharks, jellies, and thousands of other marine animals and plants.
