This documentary is telling the story of child goddesses in Nepal.
Kumari is the living child goddess who represents the belief and faith of the Nepalese, some could be as young as 5 years old. Her blessing is considered auspicious by everyone, including the head of state, even in modern times.

Kumari's life is different from other girls due to the strict set of rules and regulations she must follow, for example, Her feet cannot touch the floor at any cost, she must not to speak to anyone, she is considered to be above all others, including her parents.

Once a Kumari reaches puberty, a whole new world outside of the temple awaits her and that’s when reality hits.
