Today we load about 3 cord of firewood into Elvis, the 1981 GMC C7000 AWD Plow Dump Truck. We needed to move the firewood to make room on the landing for other activities. So we hand loaded and stacked a nice jag of it into the bed. This got rid of a bunch of wood, and will give me weight as ballast for when I plow this winter. It was a lot of work, but well worth it in the end. All total, we added about 4 ton (8000 lbs) to the back of Elvis.
