How to replace rotten log. First episode in a series of videos where we renovate our log cabin , first out is a video where I replace some parts of the logs that are rotten. I use the method reskinning or in Swedish "Halvsulning" where out cut out the part that is rotten if it is not rotten the whole way through, so I just replace half of the thickness of the log.
Tools I used: #wetterlings axes, #Stihl MSA 140C Electrical chainsaw, #HIKOKI skill saw
This is the story about us leaving the “Normal” life and how we moved to a Log Cabin in Sweden to start a Homestead.
We sold our big house to live a simpler life with less impact on the environment, closer to nature and to become more selfsufficient with less costs. We're going from 270m2 to 60m2
Follow the progress of how we set up new buildings, gardening, making new roads, getting livestock and much more.
