The Login Screen is the first contact a user receives when interacting with systems and web site pages, so making that first experience seamless, attractive and simple to use is the first step when it comes to UI design.

A successful UI design combines good usability, functionality and aesthetics to facilitate a successful outcome, based on user requirements and expectations. User interface design should therefore focus on the user's needs and expectations, not what a programmer or designer thinks is logical or cool.

Bringing this to Excel VBA, the use of a Login Screen can be adopted in many cases where the main objective is to control and protect access to spreadsheet and system data through the use of a username and password. In this case, in order to have access to data, information and codes, the user must necessarily inform their credentials.

The development of this form is possible using Windows API's, which allows us to create two customizable functions. One to make the UserForm transparent, and one to hide the borders and title bars. After that, we were able to easily insert the ideal design for our needs.

In addition, the video has several tips and tricks for customizing forms, icons and images, such as getting icons and images with a transparent background to be used inside VBA forms. Also, bring any image, of any format into Excel and make the background transparent. Achieve maximum resolution and sharpness in images, to make UserForms with a high standard of quality.
