London is a city in the county seat of Madison County, Ohio. London was established in 1811. London is known for some its popular attractions, which include, Madison Lake State Park and Little Darby State Scenic River Preserve. London is southwest of the Ohio capital Columbus. The Madison County Courthouse was completed in 1892 and designed by George H. Maetzel. This building represents several architectural styles, including BeauxArts Classicism and Second Empire design elements. It was listed on the National Register of Historic places in 1973.
