Corgan’s David Huor cohosted the American Society of Civil Engineers Met Section Air Transport Group’s Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Lessons Learned online webinar on Wednesday, January 27. Alongside Terry Brickman, Construction Quality Manager for the Turner Construction Company/PCL Construction Joint Venture, this webinar took a look at the emerging technologies used on the LAWA Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Midfield Satellite Concourse project and how, along with various collaboration techniques, the team was able to deliver the $1.6 billion terminal.

LAX is currently undergoing an airportwide modernization project to gear up for the 2028 Summer Olympics that will be hosted in Los Angeles. Updates from LAWA include renovations to all terminals, new baggage systems, new consolidated rental car facility, and a new automated people mover to help alleviate the traffic within the terminal area.
