Hello and welcome back to Miniverse! Today we are delving into WW2! This diorama was a lot of fun experimenting with different ways to make snow and how to make ground texture and dirt which applies to all of your basing goodness

▬ Sherman ww2 Tank Diorama build tutorial ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
In this tutorial, we'll be creating a tank diorama based on the ww2 Sherman tank in a snowy winter scene

▬ Step one: How to make a diorama
to start making the diorama I cut out some XPS foam to fit the size of my chosen piece of wood. using hot wire cutters I then shaped the foam to make the diorama look more natural. A helpful tip would be to try and shape your diorama so that it's not flat but has verticality to make it appear more real.

▬ Step two: Make a Sherman tank miniature.
this step is pretty selfexplanatory but was a lot of fun to make while also being a testing experience.

▬ Step three: Building a diorama!
Now it's clay time! This is the best time to sculpt your diorama into the shape you like using my favourite das clay. At this stage, I also added all of the resin terrains I 3d printed to add some character to the diorama.

when adding the dirt or texture paste I used a thinneddown PVA glue followed by IPA to get rid of any surface tension on top which helps the PVA soak in on the second pass.

▬ Step four: Painting a tank miniature
I basecoated the Tank in olive green with a white drybrush for a winter coat. Afterwards, paint the chassis and treads black and proceed to add chipping in the paint job with the original colour.

▬ Step five: How to paint the Diorama
for the main base of the diorama I used earth tones airbrushed onto the diorama. afterwards, I painted all of the extras In a muted colour palette

All these techniques can be used for lots of things from Warhammer fantasy and 40k terrain to Warhammer Cursed city terrain and scenery.
