This is my first solo trip. Went to see an amazing friend in Florida via Atlanta. I really wanted to take a 757300 to ATL, but also a 717 to VPS. No such combinations were available, so an A321 was chosen so the connecting flight would be a 717. It was a bit rainy as we approached, so I'm sure the engine sound was at least somewhat amplified for the duration we spent in the rain clouds. Thrust was going up and down, sometimes even ALMOST to the roar. Just a hint of the roar can be heard at some points as we line up for runway 26R at ATL.
