Now of course there’s some artist who write in there notes while punching in, but in general, writing ur rap's has lost the value it once had. Back in the day rappers took pride in there pen and pad. Although with the evolution of music and production, going off feel and vibe, has been the recipe for recent anthems

What’s crazy is most modern day melodic rappers go off feel.
Now i think that can work and can create bangers. Although sometimes it’s become obvious the lack of substance an artist is able to portray with strickly punching in. Not everyone can sound like gunna and flow perfectly.

There's alot of rappers who if they took a little more time writing out creative wordplay or meaningful lyrics, there music would go to another level

And already having that thought in mind.
