Florida is the epicenter of invasive species in the United States. The task of removing these invasive species is not for the faint of heart. Enter Mike and his wirehaired pointer, Otto.

Mike “The Python Cowboy” and his trusted sidekick Otto, are on the frontlines tagteaming these invasive species almost daily.

Mike, Otto, and team have removed nearly 8,000 iguanas from the Florida canals in the last year alone. The team has also removed nearly 1,500 pythons (eggs included) in just the last few months.

What Mike has been able to accomplish for the native wildlife of Florida would simply not be possible without Otto. The gritty duo works together quickly and efficiently removing invasive species from the Florida canals and Everglades. Their teamwork shows us another amazing story of what’s possible when man and dog forge an unbreakable bond through hunting.
