I took this very special flight on Lufthansa A380 from Munich to Boston. Lufthansa has just reactivated the A380s and the very first flight was from Munich to Boston on June 1st, 2023. The entire Lufthansa crew seemed to be very excited to welcome this aircraft back to service. There were celebrations at the gate, and the service in the air was fantastic.
What I love about Lufthansa First Class is that it is always consistent and reliable. While the seats don't offer that much privacy, the bed is one of the most comfortable ones in the air. The food was delicious and the service is always great. This flight being the reinaugural flight made everything just more special.
I'm so happy to see A380 come back from retirement. It's my favorite plane and it's always a pleasure to fly with it especially when the first class is also top notch.
