THIS IS YOUR LIFE Lynda Bellingham, actress, was surprised by Michael Aspel on the set of the television sitcom Second Thoughts, at London Weekend Television's South Bank studios.

Lynda has appeared in many theatre, film and TV roles, including the television drama series All Creatures Great and Small. She is fondly remembered as the head of the family in the Oxo television adverts during the 1980s.

Lynda Bellingham, OBE (born Meredith Lee Hughes; 31 May 1948 – 19 October 2014) was a Canadianborn English actress, broadcaster and author, who starred in the longrunning series of "Oxo Family" British TV adverts between 1983 and 1999, the drama series All Creatures Great and Small, the sciencefiction series Doctor Who and in the comedy series Second Thoughts and Faith in the Future. She was a panellist on the ITV lunchtime chat show Loose Women between 2007 and 2011.
