Story:
Lyn peered down at the blue liquid in the bottle. Composed of a rare species of flower she found out in the plains of her homeland, Lyn had her mages brew her a potion that would quickly reduce her size. Lyn had always found the concept of shrinking intriguing. Growing smaller and seeing everything from a new perspective.

Lifting the bottle to her lips, Lyn noticed a sweet smell coming from it. She cautiously tipped a small amount of potion into her mouth, careful not to drink too much in case something was wrong.

Suddenly, Lyn felt a strange pressure all over her body. The potion was working! Lyn could feel herself shrinking, as the room she was in appeared to be growing all around her. She looked down at herself to find that she was noticeably smaller than she was before. Almost equal in height to the chair she was standing next to.

This was incredible! Lyn took a moment to marvel in her surroundings before looking back at the bottle. If just a sip had made this much smaller, she wondered how much smaller the rest of the potion would make her.

Wasting no time, she took another drink from the bottle, but this time a much larger one than before. Lyn felt the same pressure she had felt before all over herself, a moment before she felt herself sinking down into the floor again. Ooh, this was so much fun.

After taking in her new size once again, Lyn realized that she was tiny right now. The chair that she previously stood shoulder to shoulder with, now absolutely dwarfed her! Well, she looked down at her new favorite drink to see that there was only a little bit left. She might as well finish it off.

After pouring the last of her drink into her mouth, Lyn felt the effects of the potion return once more before she settled into her final size, one that was much smaller than she had been before. She must have been one tenth of her normal size!

Lyn looked up and down once again, still amazed at how small she had become. It was probably a good thing Lyn was out of potion, otherwise she might just take another drink and shrink even smaller.

As much fun as being tiny was, it was probably time for her to return to her normal size, she had a meeting with Hector and the Ostian consul that she was expected to attend, and it wasn’t exactly befitting of the Marquess’s wife to attend in such a state.

Lyn sighed and then got ready to drink the restorative elixir. The one she had left… on top of the table. The table that she was far too tiny to reach. Well, guess she wouldn’t be attending that meeting. Hopefully it would be over soon so Hector could come in and help her. But until then, she was free to explore her giant surroundings!

Notes:
What’s this? An actual story for one of my animations? Yeah I don’t know. I just felt like writing. Not sure how much it adds to the animation so I’m not sure if I’ll start doing stories again, but I just thought it was fun to write.

I do like the animation though. Lyn’s motion feels smooth and fairly natural, and I like the slow progression of how she shrinks. Also doing shrinking animations is way more fun now that I know how to use IKs and am better at animating in general. Before when I did them the motion looked pretty bad, but now I think this one is actually quite convincing. I’ll probably end up doing more in the future because I think there’s a lot of places I can go with it. Also it adds a little more variety to my animation, something that I feel is sorely needed.
