M1艾布拉姆斯主戰坦克英語M1 Abrams是美國陸軍的主戰坦克。美國在1970年代後期開發M1艾布拉姆斯欲取代M60巴頓系列坦克M1在1980年開始服役其家族型號主要有M1、M1A1及M1A2後續的改良型M1A3仍在開發階段。 M1坦克以前任美國陸軍參謀長、第37裝甲團指揮官和駐越美軍司令官的克雷頓·艾布拉姆斯陸軍上將命名。
The M1 Abrams main battle tank (English: M1 Abrams) is the main battle tank of the US Army. The United States developed the M1 Abrams in the late 1970s to replace the M60 Patton series tanks. The M1 entered service in 1980. Its family models mainly include M1, M1A1 and M1A2, and the subsequent improved M1A3 is still in the development stage . The M1 tank was named after General Creighton Abrams, the former Chief of Staff of the US Army, Commander of the 37th Armored Regiment and Commander of the US Army in Vietnam.
