Machining Drink Coasters on a $100000 CNC

Today we're taking a look at what it's like to use a CNC machine that's way outside my budget, the Datron Neo. This is a CNC that many (myself included) have drooled over in social media posts for it's seemingly effortless machining of aluminum, blistering speed, and crazy precision. But does it live up to the hype? Is the magical vacuum workholding system as effective as it's made out to be? Let's find out...

Disclaimer: The following video contains observations of a single, lowly, professional hobby machinist with a limited set of experiences (I have no formal training in machining). Furthermore, I work for a CNC company. This content is not intended to be a CNC machine review, nor should it be construed as endorsement or purchasing advice.

I used (and paid for) laser cutting services through SendCutSend, and they were great. If you want to try them out, you can use this affiliate link, which helps my channel: https://shop.sendcutsend.com/winstonm...

Update on drink coaster availability (3/16): I just sold out of remaining stock faster than expected, so I'm looking into making another order of hex blanks. Can't make any promises on ETA, but if you're still interested in getting a set, let me know in the comments.
