I would like to show you step by step how to make a hanging swing using the macrame method.
Every beginner who enters the macrame and wants to make such a swing asks himself the question: where to start? So from purchasing metal hoops depending on what size we want to get a swing, this is an individual matter, my hoops have a diameter of 40 cm and 110 cm.
Strings good quality cotton string 3PLY 5 mm, I used about 850 meters of natural color for this work.
I used Lovely Cotton 5 mm natural cotton cord to braid the rim.
My swing is 150 cm high.

Of course, it is important to mount it to the ceiling, first of all it must be stable and have a load capacity of at least 120 kg. My mount is on a steel rack attached to the beam as we have a void in the ceiling and there was no option to mount it this way.
