Nero into Newfound Gap from Derricks Knob Shelter where we got a hitch into Gatlinburg. Dried out all our gear, got our laundry done, ate great food and hit up Food City for a 5 day resupply. Several people asked so I did a rundown of what I've been currently eating and how resupplies look in towns!

My hike this year is a fundraiser hike for the nonprofit Tidepool. Tidepool is actively trying to bring to the market technology that would help a lot of fellow Type 1 Diabetic's out there! You can give a one time flat donation or pledge to give for every mile I actively complete on the AT this year.
