Several amazing Landing and Takeoff at unique Funchal Aerport FNC (Aeroporto de Cristiano Ronaldo).

This video was shot on one day with multiple cameras at the same time and at 4 different plane spotting spots.

The Aeroporto de Cristiano Ronaldo is not a normal international airport, it is number 9 among the 10 most dangerous airports in the world. It is located directly on the slope of a cliff with dangerous shear winds and the runway was extended from 1,800 to 2,777 meters in 2000 so that all aircraft can land there.

I visited Madeira primarily because of the uniqueness of Funchal FNC Airport. Starting from an apartment with a view of the runway, I was able to record a total of 750 GB of 4K footage over 9 days, with great footages from a wide variety of positions. This is the first video in a whole series. I hope you like it.

The main focus is on the A321 Neo from Lufthansa coming from Frankfurt, which does not fly to the special Funchal airport that often.

There are also interesting footages of landing Eurowings planes from Düsseldorf and Cologne, a starting Jet2 plane to Manchester, an easyJet landing planes from Berlin and an extraordinary night landing from Lisbon with an airport bacon runway.
