Maggot Belly is a storyboarded MAP (MultiAnimator Project) exploring the themes of the character Frecklewish from the Warriors series. She is a character heavily motivated by her inability to cope with her grief, stemming from her brother’s death.
This MAP explores the implications of her actions in the series and dives deeper into the character through the use of symbolism. Her devotion to her brother, Birchface, is shown in a world of bugs, and how focused she is on him and how she sees everything that’s hurt her brother evil, like predators.
