We took the Amtrak Empire Builder sleeper train on a magial winter journey from Portland, Oregon all the way to Chicago. We reserved a bedroom on the train, so, you know, we'd have somewhere to sleep. Our purpose was to answer this question: Does living on a train suck? Well, spoiler alert, it turned out to be magical!
