Curious how a budget friendly rifle like the ruger precision rifle stacks up against a more expensive option like the barrett mrad? In this video we'll perform a side by side comparison of the Barrett MRAD and Ruger precision rifle in 300PRC. The video shows performance at 100 yards, 1465 yards and 1820 yards. Both rifles are equipped with nightforce atacr F1 scopes, the MRAD is running a 735 with tremor 3 reticle while the ruger precision is running a 525 with MILR reticle. To keep things fair, both rifles are shooting the 230gr hornady atip bullet which I have found to be extremely effective in ELR applications. As you can see in the video both rifles are more than capable of effectively engaging targets out to a mile!
