Manorama Khedkar, the mother of IAS trainee Puja Khedkar, detained from Maharashtra’s Mahad on July 18, as confirmed by Pankaj Deshmukh, SP of Pune Rural Police.
Earlier, Manorama Khedkar was issued a show cause notice by Pune Police on June 13 over the misuse of a licensed gun.
Pankaj Deshmukh, SP, Pune Rural Police said, "We have detained her from Mahad. She is on her way here. We will question her and take further legal action. She was found in a hotel in Mahad."
