in 2014 at the Black Dirt Squadron club field in orange county NY, this beautiful turbine jet tooķ its maiden flight.. after hours of tinkering, on the phone with the company's tec support, the pilot finally decided it was time to fly his beautiful new $45,000 turbine jet. after his perfect take off, trimming and getting used to the plane, he had an unfortunate flame out and had to land it dead stick on the clubs 600' x 900' field runway. outside the field boundaries are nothing but onion fields with 6' wide/deep irrigation ditches running through and all around them. luckily it was in a good location when it happened, and he was able to bring it in for a perfect landing down the center of the club runway...
