I can’t believe we are already up to the season of Autumn for our Roxy’s Journal of Stitchery Field Notes slow stitching project, inspired by and paying tribute to Edith Holden. #Roxysjournalofstitchery
The prompt for this two weeks is Autumn colours or tones including earthy reds, fiery oranges, rust and deep burgundies.
In this video I share how you can use small scraps of fabric to create double sided autumn leaves that would be fantastic as ‘embellishments or decorations. Or you can make a single sided one to add to your slow stitching projects.
With many thanks to Rachel @roxycreations679 and Sarah @roxycreationsbysarah who put so much thought and time into coming up with and running this great free collaboration, even with their very busy lives! It is an honour to be part of such a lovely community of slow stitchers.
I hope you have a wonderful week ahead and I look forward to seeing what slow stitching pieces you are creating for #roxysjournalofstitchery field notes or your own projects.
Cheers,
Christine
