I happened to come across this jumble of metal words while out thrifting and... to my surprise... they all worked together to form a phrase! (if you thrift often then you know that typically something is missing!) From that... this was born. it was supposed to be a very quick and straight forward project... something I could easily squeeze in between some of the custom painting I was getting done in the shop but then... the dreaded bleedthrough issue arose. And... not just any bleedthrough... nicotine. It quickly took this fast little project into a multilayered project requiring numerous coats of shellac and paint. Sheesh!

That's the way these things go though, you are happily painting away knocking out pieces and then you hit a stumbling block. It's all in how you deal with it, which requires you to know how to deal with it! Luckily I did and now you know too!!
