In this video I am making one of the newer stable nitroxyl radicals that is gaining more and more attention. It can be produced with green chemistry techniques and is generally more effective than TEMPO, which makes it an attractive replacement. Still, improvements to its synthesis are in development and over the years the steps have become simplified, more economical and safer.
