Crimson powder is best blackpowder substitute considering how fast and simple it can be prepared, no ball mill required!
Take in mind that its preparation is more dangerous than rocket candy. Do not overheat! Its very easy to overheat in the end of boiling, keep the temperature below 130C. Use well regulated hot plate, termometer and wear protection!
