I used three hydraulic cylinders to build the hydraulic log splitter. Two smaller cylinders drive the knife and the wood feeder, the largest hydraulic cylinder splits wood. Everything is connected to two hydraulic distributors, a singlesection distributor designed for log splitter, and a universal twosection distributor. For two smaller hydraulic cylinders I had to install valves to slow them down because they were moving out too fast. The valves make the pump heavily loaded but the cylinders work slower. I connected the whole machine to the hydraulic power pack I made in the previous video.
Thanks to the feeder and adjustable blade the work is very fast and not tiring, the splitter has a lot of power and can handle the hardest wood without any problem
