In this video I am doing syntheses to make Ferrocene, Stannocene, Cobaltocene and Manganocene. Ferrocene and Stannocene are relatively simple to produce, but both cobaltocene and manganocene are airsensitive. This is why these compounds are much more challenging to make. Especially when hot, these compounds will degrade extremely fast in air.
