As mentioned in the video, the term "pochade box" refers to a smaller box you can take with yourself on painting adventures.

I wanted it to be light and small enough for me to carry it, as well as sturdy enough for me not to worry about the pastels falling out.
It serves not only as storage for the pastels but also as storage for my papers and finished painting, which I store in the lid.

I used an old box I bought online for 6 euros along with some things I bought at a hardware store for a total of around 9 euros.

This is not an instruction video but more like a timelapse of the process.

I have already used it and it works exactly as I wanted it to. I will be uploading a 4K video showing how I use it for open air painting as soon as I get an access to a better internet connection.
