I liked the Razor E300 but it just isn't fast enough. I decided to prototype a lithium battery swap, using just what I had lying around the house. Namely, my Ryobi drill batteries. It's not a straightforward swap it required working around some features of the speed controller but I found my way around a couple of problems and get things going!

Do not try this yourself if you don't know what you're doing, it's dangerous and you or others could get hurt and that'd make you sad.

That said, if you're smart and brave, you can do some great things. Take it slow, do it safely, and have a blast. Fun to be had.

Thanks to all my friends who helped out with this video! Particularly Alex and Trang who were willing to risk life and limb to ride this monster.
