I love this impact :) It can remove axle nuts, honda crank pulley bolts, suspension bolts no problem. This is the new Makita 1/2" brushless impact wrench model number DTW1002Z (UK) & XWT08Z (USA).It is made in Japan. It has 3 speeds with forward torque output rated at 645, 764,988 ftlbs. In reverse it is rated at 698,850,1055 ftlbs. You can see this measurement here    • Makita  VS  Makita ( XWT07 / XWT08 ...

The impact is very well built , it is not just another cordless impact. You can tell immediately by the zero play in the front bushing for the anvil, there is even a seal to keep debris out. Another interesting design feature is how the screws come from behind , go through the plastic body and screw into the front nose cone with loctite red. It is almost impossible for the front nose cone to come loose. If you compare that to other impacts on the market the screws go from from the front, through the nose cone and screw into the plastic body. Some of the lower end impacts will have the front cone vibrate loose. Here Is a video of a impact with a loose cone    • Video

I looked inside and the anvil is completely different from the other impacts it must be 20% bigger than others on the market. Not only are the internals bigger but you can definitely feel them at work. At points in the video you can see it shake itself off the bolt head because it just hits that hard and powerful, I was using one hand to hold the camera so it was difficult.

The only thing I do not like about the impact is the friction/hog ring design. It is unfortunately too loose even if you try to spread it out. It is ok for the smaller sockets but it just does not have the grip for larger sockets.

I have never tried a makita tool but as soon as I felt how the battery slides into the bottom I knew it was quality, there is no play it does not vibrate around. It just slides in and click. Beautiful.

update I just wanted to add a little warning that yes it is great the screws go into the aluminum body but they are put together with red loctite so if you take the front cone off you may have to run a tap down the holes to put it back together. There is really no need to pull the cone off as this impact has a seal on the front and the grease most likely will not come out even if it heats up unlike other impacts.

This tool comes bare or with battery
the code for bare is
XWT08MB battery
XWT08z bare tool

XWT07 is the 3/4 anvil version and it uses a pin

DTW1002RTJ is the model with battery in europe
DTW1002z is bare tool

I believe in Russia impact wrench is гайковерт and the model is still the same.
