During aircraft approach and landing on Balearic Islands Mallorca Flughafen PMI the crosswind temporarily switched to a heavy gusty headwind and reduced the landing speed and one plane aborted the landing and did a goaround.

From April 1, 2022, flight movements at Mallorca Aeroporto de Son San Joan (PMI) increased significantly after Corona and this began with strong crosswinds.
