Under 12 hours that is how long it took for a scam victim to lose a large chunk of his life savings. The modus operandi? Malware that infected his android device, siphoning funds from his CPF and bank accounts. He was one of eight aged between 55 and 80 to lose S$124,000 of their pension funds in the first half of this year.
