A man has transformed his back garden into a tropical paradise complete with running waterfall and a huge koi pond for his poorly pet pooch.

Chris Lodge, from Wollaston, Northamptonshire, has spent three years and thousands of pounds on the mammoth project, which also includes a rope bridge, Tiki hut, lighting and dozens of tropical trees and succulents.

The 45yearold construction worker used his spare time to create a piece of paradise for himself, his wife Sharon and their poorly pet dog, Dice.

And now the Boxer dog who is unable to roam far from home due to seizures can often be found falling asleep on the wooden bridge as he listens to the soothing sound of running water.
