Mannanán Mac Lir: The Wandering Bard

Follow
The Rambling Seanchaí

Manannán Mac Lir was the Irish God of the Sea, first ruler of the Isle of Man and ferryman to the mystical Otherworld. As a member of the legendary Tuatha Dé Danann, he had astonishing magical powers and possessions that he often used to trick and dazzle the mortals that he came across. In this story, Manannán arrives at a great feast in Bel Atha Senaig (Ballyshannon) and gets into a spot of bother with its ruler Aobh Dubh O’Donnell. I hope you like it and thank you so much for checking it out!
