Hi this is Righ. Welcome back.
These are tips and tricks for the Tavern in Manor Lords.
Viewer discretion is advised: references to alcohol in this video.
So, Let's get into the Tavern building in Manor Lords.

A tavern will be needed around midgame for the distribution of ale to the burgage plots that you want to upgrade
, after all requirements are met for the level 2 burgage plots, to level 3.

The steps which lead to supplying a tavern in Manor Lords begins with placing fields in the region which you command.
The field selection can be found by clicking the construction hammer and then the farming panel.

Then click Barley Fertility under the Overlay options to the right to see which area of your region has the
darkest green areas for barley fertility for the best farming field placement.

Region resources and fertility are random at the start of a new map. Sometimes your starting region might not have any barley fertility in the area.

With enough influence gained from battles or food tithes to a church through the manor interface, you can claim a region that has barley fertility.
You can then settle the newly claimed region and farm barley to send to other regions that are lacking barley fertility.

A good method for laying the fields will be to pause the game while preparing the green area.
*Field placement is free. *

Making an outline of temporary fields and then surrounding it by roads and
then destroying the outline fields before placing
the desired fields will allow maximum usage as the placement reticle will snap to the side of the roads.

Keeping fields the size of half a morgen seems to work more efficiently in getting crops harvested by farm workers.

For the next step we will need a farmhouse, located by clicking the construction hammer at the bottom of the screen
and then above the farm sickle, with road access to the fields and at least one worker.
Having more workers, if available, will speed up field work.

Next construct a malthouse and staff it with a worker to use the barley that is harvested from the field to make malt.

The next step will be to upgrade a burgage plot to level two and then construct a brewery at the burgage plot.
In troubleshooting it can sometimes be easy to forget to build a brewery.
Twice I had forgotten and beat the game parameters with only level 2 burgage plots and later realized I missed
the component necessary. One of the family members will automatically start making ale.

Finally, for the next step we need to build a tavern with a worker to distribute the ale.

Nearby burgage plots will then have met the 'tavern requirement' which is one of the requirements to upgrade a
burgage plot to level 3.

The purpose of having a level 3 burgage plot is for the family militia members to have access to
mail armor instead of gambesons worn at level 2 thereby increasing the armor stat when mail armor can be bought or made.
