In this session, we create daily hot polygons delineated from MODIS Hotspot location points. For days with a point sample size above 10 hot spots, we use the Kernel Density geoprocessing tool and eventually create a daily hot polygon from our kernel density raster.
For days with a small sample size of hot spots, we simply use the buffer tool and dissolve based on the day of observation.
