Kings and Generals historical animated documentary series on Roman history continues with a video on the emperor Marcus Aurelius, philosopherking whose reign was the last in the Roman Golden Age and the last of the socalled Five Good Emperors. Marcus Aurelius presided over Rome during a difficult period of the early Germanic invasions and managed to keep the empire intact winning the Marcomannic Wars. He is known as one of the prominent adherents of the Stoicism school of philosophy as the author of famous Meditations.
