Marcus is a composer, producer, and multiinstrumentalist, but he is best known for holding down the lowend on his trusty Fender Jazz Bass and producing the groove for artists such as Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Luther Vandross, David Sanborn and many more.

In this video you’re going to learn about how he got started in music (bass wasn’t his first instrument), his early career and how he got his break, his gear, his goto effects, and everything inbetween… the whole nine yards.
