In this video you will learn how to make the famous Cake Margherita or Margarita Cake. It is a simple and easy cake to make, super fluffy, soft and fresh. The Margherita cake is a classic dessert of the Christmas and Easter season, which was prepared throughout northern and central Italy, before the arrival of the Panettone and the Easter Colomba.

The Margherita sponge cake probably owes its name to the shape it takes when cut into portions: thanks to the powdered sugar sprinkled on the surface, and the yellow color of the interior, due to the eggs, it takes on the appearance of a daisy, where each piece of cake represents a petal.
This recipe is easy, quick to make, and requires no baking powder. We're just going to make our cake tall by adding air to the batter.

Here are the ingredients of the recipe:
Ingredients:
6 yolks
3 eggs
150 gr sugar
25 gr honey
Zest of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 orange
100 gr flour 0000 (all purpose flour)
60 gr corn starch
Pinch of salt
100 gr melted butter (butter)

20 cm diameter and 8 cm high mold
