Marie Josephine of Savoy Wife Of Louis XVIII: MarieJoséphine Louise Bénédicte Of Savoy, Princess of Savoy and later, through her marriage, Countess of Provence and wife of Louis XVIII, was born in Turin on 2 September 1753 and died at Hartwell House in Hartwell, Buckinghamshire, England, on 13 November 1810. She was the wife of Louis Stanislas Xavier de France, Count of Provence , the future Louis XVIII. She escaped the French Revolution and ended her life in exile.
