Marie Laforêt passed away on November 2, 2019. On the occasion of the first anniversary of her death, her friend Laurent Ruquier, who knew her well, recounts her career as a singer and actress, from her film debut in the 1960s until her big comeback to the Bouffes Parisiens in 2005 after leaving the stage 30 years ago. With 35 films and more than 35 million albums sold, Marie Laforêt never understood her success, and was always surprised by the love that the public had for her. In this film made up of archives, the artist opens up through the many interviews she has given, illustrated with her greatest hits.
