I decided to upgrade to a Google Pixel 7 and figured I would see how well it handles video game emulation. It seems to run a lot of GameCube and Wii games pretty well at 2x resolution, which actually looks really nice and crisp on the phone's display.

For GameCube games, I am using a real GameCube controller connected to my phone via an OEM Wii U GameCube controller adapter (I use a USB hub that connects to the phone via a USB C to A adapter... the adapter the phone comes with works fine).

For Wii games, I use a real Wii remote / nunchuck connected to my phone via a Mayflash DolphinBar (requires a USB C to A adapter... the one the phone comes with works fine).

I am using the phone's builtin video screen recorder. Note that it can have a small impact on performance, so if a game appears slightly jerky but the FPS remains solid, it typically plays smooth as butter on the phone when not recording.
